Money, support or a business relationship cannot buy publication, promotion or a favourable review.
DEN does not negotiate performances, contracts or record label terms on a creator's behalf.
The recording, creator profile and listening figures remain on the creator's own platform unless separately agreed in writing.

Selection is not a competition or quality ranking. Our aim is to present every creator and song with confidence.
An original voice
Honesty and something personal to say matter more than follower counts or expensive studio equipment.
Human and respectful
The song's tone and message respect other people's dignity.
Accurate creator details
Composers, lyricists, performers and contributors are clearly credited.
Rights cleared for presentation
The necessary permissions for presenting the recording, cover version and any samples are in place.
Suitable for the audience
The content can be clearly labelled with a recommended age group.
